Just need to get this off my chest while I'm on my lunch break.
But I am so, so, so, soooo tired of people (especially the younger generation) acting so patronizing and condescending when someone expresses their point of view or making a simple, neutral statement. It's part of the reason why I stepped back from having a voice on the Internet for so long. There was an animation recommended to me (I had already seen it though) and someone made a comment stating what they felt about the video, and someone (who noticeably got more likes) responded saying "it's not that far fetched, cutie."
Can we stop this attitude? For everyone?
And I GET it's the Internet. I get that people are anonymous and can say whatever they want. But the problem with this!!! is that this attitude is finding it's way more and more into the real world, because there are no repercussions and each generation is being raised more and more on the Internet, and becoming more comfortable with being apathetic and unwilling to listen to others.
Reading comments on major social media platforms sucks.
